Byron Huang-Dean is a Melbourne-based sound artist and experimental musician working in the areas of composition, performance, sound installation and site-specific art. His field recording practice explores sonic experiences of urban environments, using acousmatic composition to examine and re-shape listening perspectives of place. As an improvisor he works with a range of extended instrument techniques, everyday objects and field recordings. His work has previously been presented in events, exhibitions and festivals in Australia, China, Scotland, Japan and Austria.

they will perform “Linear Duo” which initiated by Yan Jun. in such game the performers will never play at same time. it’s a try of getting rid of dialogue cliche in both the political and musical collectiveness.
Now lives in Beijing. He has formed many different music projects, from experimental and underground rock band, to improvisation, composition, practice or game.
From 2009 to 2015, Zhu organized the weekly experimental/improvisation/noise performance series Zoomin’ Night on every Tuesday. A lot of Beijing’s new generation experimental musicians began their performance from Zoomin’ Night. Now Zoomin’ Night is a cassette label.
