Jackson Garland said:
I’ve been living in Beijing since 2003. Before moving here I lived in
Helsinki, Finland and I am from California, USA originally. I’m in a band
here in Beijing called Handsome Black and I’ve also formed with some other
people a music band “collective” called Randomk(e), which incorporates
experimental rock with samples and loops to create a blend of cinematic
“avant rock” and soundscapes. As for individual music, I like to approach
each event of music and sound creation as a unique experience that changes
every time, which may incorporate field recordings made both around the city
and onsite at gigs mixed with other organic and electronic elements. A fair
bit of sampling and live looping is used to build up drones and ambient
spaces.

WHITE是一支由北京新一代乐手组成的实验即兴组织，也是一支向Glenn Branca致敬的乐队。2005年8月21日在什么酒吧，来自car sick cars、snapline、呢扎乐队的5位乐手与Glenn Branca的吉他手John Myers一起参加了WHITE NO.1的演出。

颜峻
1973年生于兰州，毕业于西北师范大学中文系，Sub Jam（铁托）和观音（KwanYin）厂牌主持人，现居住和工作在北京。出版有音乐文化及评论文集若干，自印诗集若干；2004年开始声音创作和表演， 与fm3、武权、另外两位同志等乐队合作发表现场录音若干，主要演出有“成都博客中国行”10城市巡演、Nuit Blanche（巴黎）、“每秒1000个革命”（布鲁塞尔）、大山子国际艺术节（北京）、“格根塔拉草原狂欢节”（作为铁观音乐队成员）、“最电子 ”（厦门）……目前主持“水陆观音”系列实验/即兴音乐活动。

Born in Lanzhou in 1973. Graduate in Chinese Language & Literature, Northwest Normal University 1995.
he is a leading member of the Chinese underground sound/music scene as a promoter and organizer. he is also a poet and the most important music critic in China, as well as an newcome active sound performer.
he had released 5 books/essay anthology on musical topic and 2 poetry collections. via his own label, he released a sound-poem album and 4 collaborated live recordings.
now he Lives and works in Beijing. runing the well know Sub Jam label and KwanYin label.
