颜峻：2003年，第4届北大诗歌节找我做一个专场朗诵会。我找了FM3和武权，多媒体现场，想必有意思。
非典刚刚被公布，但4月8号那天，万圣书园的咖啡厅还是坐满了人。张颐武来送口罩，王凡拍了DV，廖伟棠拍了照片，柯雷写了评论，刘立新运来音响，谢谢他们。
FM3用两台笔记本做音乐，武权用一台笔记本做影像，我盯着一台笔记本朗诵——我从来都记不住自己的诗。这是我们第一次合作，之前在我家碰过一次，就算是排练了。
几个月以后，现场录音在Sub Jam出版了。至今稳居滞销排行榜。2007年快要结束的时候，我们决定在观音唱片将它再版。不想买唱片的可以上网去听：

FM3：两年后的这一天，FM3 Buddha Machine（FM3佛机）正式由德国厂牌Staalplaat发行……

2 Yan Jun:
In the 4th Poetry Festival in Beijing University in 2003, I was invited to present a poetry recital. And I thought it would be very interesting to have FM3 and Wu Quan joining me for more multimedia input. That was the time of SARS’ outbreak. However Thinker Cafe of the Allsages Books was still packed by audience on 8 April. Zhang Yiwu sent some masks for us. Wang Fan took video camera. Liao Weitang took photos, and Maghiel van Crevel wrote critics about this. Liu Lixin provided soundsystem. Thank them all.

FM3 used two notebooks for music, and Wu Quan used one notebook for visuals. I looked at one notebook to recite (because I never can memorize my own poetry). This was the first time we work together, and we only had one meeting at my house as rehearsal.
After a few months, the recording of this performance was released by Sub Jam. This is still one of the most difficult album to sell. In the beginning of 2008, we decided to re-release it. Anyone who doesn’t want to spend money to buy this album could just browse on website: http://mclc.osu.edu/rc/pubs/yanjun.htm.

FM3:
The same day, after two years, FM3 Buddha Machine was officially released by Staalplaat, a German label.
