继历时一年多的水陆观音之后
铁观音和朋友们向更寂静的所在竖起了耳朵
每周三晚，在爵士音乐家刘元新开的“东岸”酒吧
铁观音乐队和国内外的电子音乐家、声音艺术爱好者
向所有热爱声音的人开放又一个静噪有致的表演、交流平台

observing sound at the side of qian hai

after one year of Waterland Kwanyin series events, Tie Guan Yin (project) and their friends turn their ears to a quiet new place.
every wednesday night, at Liu Yuan’s Eastshore Live Jazz Bar, Tie Guan Yin invited electronic musicians and sound artists from oversea and local scene to perform/impro.
comeover, hang out with them if you love sound and enjoy silence.

guan: observe, view; yin: sound, infomation. guan yin (as kwanyin buhhda) is a kind of Chinese traditional philosophy of acoustic ecology; it’s an attitude of experiencing and cognizing.
